Poems from the heart

God has given us grace. God has enabled us to feel, to know and to write down our emotions and our thoughts in a manner that brings glory to Him. May Our Poetry Always reflect Calvary

Verse 1
In the past I thought I was strong.
In my past I was wrong.
Every day brought me new snares.
Every day I didn’t know you cared
But…

Chorus
That was then, this is now…(this is now…)
You’re gonna change me lots somehow.
All my heart you did find.
So I’ll learn to put my past behind…(put my past behind…)

Verse 2
At the end of myself, at the end of the day
I can find little else but the courage to say,
How much I need you.
When I when without you, I couldn’t get through.
Still…

Chorus
That was then, this is now…(this is now…)
You’re gonna change me lots somehow.
All my heart you did find.
So I’ll learn to put my past behind…(put my past behind…)

Bridge
My face is turned toward what’s cominn...(toward what's comin...)
My heart will never ever stop running...(never stop runnin...)
Running toward that face…(toward that face…)
Running toward that place…(toward that place…)
