Poems from the heart

God has given us grace. God has enabled us to feel, to know and to write down our emotions and our thoughts in a manner that brings glory to Him. May Our Poetry Always reflect Calvary

My christmas poem...

My winter poem...

Snowflakes in my hair, white snow everywhere.

It looks amazing, it makes my glad heart sing.

The white reminds me of happiness,

When Jesus took all shame and left me shameless.

The house is full of lights. Lights that shine so bright.

They shine and light the way, and make me want to stay.

The presents under the tree, they’re pretty just to see.

Some big, some small, some round, some tall.

On the table there is a manger scene.

And light from everything beams.

A humble family, a poor family.

But they have something that makes them rich.

This Christmas is one of the best.

Even though I liked the rest,

I felt so hollow, with nobody to follow.

This year I know who I truly love.

I send up a quick prayer, for people everywhere.

For those who don’t know Jesus loves.

I hope that they will turn one day,

To the one who will always stay.
